1. Terms of Use:

To use bakkal.om website, it is required that you agree and undertake to comply with the Terms of use of bakkal.om. By ordering a product using this system, the user agrees to be bound by the user agreement of bakkal.om. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, then you may not use the site. Bakkal.om reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. You agree that each visit you make to the sites shall be subject to the then-current Terms of Use, and continued use of the site now or following modifications in these Terms of Use confirms that you have read, accepted, and agreed to be bound by such modifications.

The terms and conditions apply to bakkal.om website and its associated applications on all mobile site platforms.

By using this site, you warrant that any personal information provided by you is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects and that you will notify us immediately of any changes to your personal information by updating your member profile on the site or by contacting us, you agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorized to use.

In order to place an online order, the user must 'Sign In' with a unique "user name" and "password". The "user name" shall be personal to the member and the same "user name" is not given to two different members. The user can change the password at any time. It is solely the user's responsibility to select and protect their username and password. Bakkal.om is not liable for any problems, which may arise from the use of a password. Bakkal.om does not share the user information with third party companies. 

You are not allowed to register multiple memberships for use by the same person. Violation of this clause may result in termination of your membership.

Members' passwords should be kept confidential at all times, and must not be shared or disclosed to anyone. You are responsible for all activities and orders that occur or are submitted through your membership. If you know or suspect that someone has knowledge of your password then you should contact us immediately.

All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (under the age of 18) shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.


Any comments or feedback that you submit through the website must not:


  1. attempt to impersonate another user or person; 

  2. use the username of another user; 

  3. use the bakkal.om service as part of any effort to compete with bakkal.om or to provide services as a service office;

  4. attempt to bypass any measures of the website designed to prevent or restrict access to the website, or any portion of the website;

  5. harass, annoy, intimidate or threaten Old Bazaar Business LLC Company through any medium of communication or to any of its employees engaged in providing any part of Old Bazaar Company services to you;

  6. use the website in a manner inconsistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations;

  7. any other suspected malicious activities on bakkal.om website or applications;


The prohibited acts listed in the above paragraphs are non-exhaustive. You will pay Old Bazaar Company for all costs and damages which it incurs as a result of you breaching any of these restrictions.

Bakkal.om will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or location of anyone posting any material in breach of the above paragraph.

Bakkal.om may temporary suspend or completely cease the system operation at any time.

Bakkal.om shall not have any responsibilities against the members of bakkal.om or any third parties due to the temporarily suspension or completely cessation of the system operation.

This site may be unavailable at certain times to allow for maintenance and upgrades. Although we will endeavor to notify customers in advance of any service unavailability, this cannot be guaranteed and we reserve the right to alter or withdraw the service at any time.

All credit/debit card details and personally identifiable information will not be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties.

We take appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security including through various hardware and software methodologies. However, (www.bakkal.om) cannot guarantee the security of any information that is disclosed online.

We are not responsible for the privacy policies of websites to which it links. If you provide any information to such third parties different rules regarding the collection and use of your personal information may apply. You should contact these entities directly if you have any questions about their use of the information that they collect.

The website Policies and Terms and Conditions may be changed or updated occasionally to meet the requirements and standards. Therefore the Customers' are encouraged to frequently visit these sections in order to be updated about the changes on the website. Modifications will be effective on the day they are posted.


3. Security Capabilities and Policy for Transmission of Payment Cards:

Please read the following terms of use and disclaimers carefully before using Debit / Credit Cards: 

Credit or Debit cards must belong to the user. Otherwise, the user must attain the legal permission from the card owner to perform the transaction.

Customers using the Debit / Credit Cards facility are requested to be available on their respective contact numbers.

The customer is entirely liable for placing an order using the Debit / Credit Cards facility after carefully reading all the terms & conditions.

The customer is must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules. 

The customer refund procedure will be made onto the original mode of payment and will be processed within 10 to 45 days depends on the issuing bank of the credit card. The customer has to follow on with the bank in case of any delay in crediting back the customer's account with the amount previously paid by the customer. Bakkal.ae will send an email to the customer that contains a printout of the refund advice printed from Debit / Credit Cards bank payment gateway as reference in case the customer wants to revise the bank with.

4. Method of Payment, Card Types accepted and Currency :

Debit / Credit Cards

We only accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in oman. 


Payment must be completed by credit/debit card as online through 128bit SSL payment gateway. Where any payment you make online is not authorized, you will be returned to the previous page on the website and we shall not be obliged to provide the services.


5. Product Delivery:

Bakkal.om will not deal or provide any services or products to any of OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions countries in accordance with the law of oman. 

At the time of check-out the possibility that multiple shipments may result in multiple postings to the customers' monthly statement. The displayed price and currency at the checkout page, will be the same price and currency printed on the Transaction Receipt and the amount charged to the card will be shown in your card currency

Buyers are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of delivery addresses, and bakkal.ae shall have no liability or responsibility for any erroneous addresses. Please be aware that bakkal.ae will do everything they can to meet the delivery time specified, however delivery times may be affected by factors beyond their control and therefore cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

During any product delivery, if the client is not available in the address specified in the system, the products ordered by the client shall not be delivered to anywhere else. Within the framework of such a case, the member must accept all legal responsibilities arising from ordering a product to an address where he/she does not exist.


6. Delivery & Shipping Policy:

Multiple shipments/delivery may result in multiple postings to the cardholder's monthly statement. The orders will be delivered by our own delivery team, using our own temperature controlled vehicles.


7. Refund and Return Policy:

Bakkal.om takes customer satisfaction very seriously. In the case of problems with your order, please send us an email on customercare@bakkal.om and we will assist you. In appropriate cases, if you have already been billed by bakkal.om, bakkal.om will issue full or partial refunds. In the following cases: if you did not receive your order or received an incorrect order, you may be issued a full refund; if part of your order is missing, we may issue a partial refund. In every event, we will do our best to ensure your satisfaction. Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.

8. Cancellation and Replacement Policy:

Should the customer wishes to cancel the order after the online payment has been processed, the customer must send an e-mail to customercare@bakkal.om within 30 minutes with the reference number of the order, and the refund will be made onto the original mode of payment to the customer's account. This may be redeemed with the next order. In the event of a customer not being entirely satisfied with the product due to quality issues, the customer should notify bakkal.om within 48 hours of receiving the order by sending an email to customercare@bakkal.om. Otherwise a return request will not be accepted. The items must be made available for collection by bakkal.ae and the item will be replaced with the same product. Should a product not be available for replacement, bakkal.ae will refund the amount onto the original mode of payment. 


9. Prices and Availability:

Bakkal.om reserves the right to update the prices at any time. While we will do our best to procure and deliver your order, certain products may be temporarily unavailable or out of stock. In such cases: if you did not receive your order or received an incorrect order, you will be issued a full refund; if part of your order is missing, we will issue a partial refund for the price of the undelivered quantity. In every event, we will do our best to ensure your satisfaction. We update prices and special offers continuously.

How do i shop with bakkal.ae?

Shop - choose the shelves and start filling your basket. Shop from our recommended offers, your favourites, browse the shelves, or use Search bar to find specific items.
Checkout - once your shopping is complete, click on the Checkout button to send the contents of your basket to a page where to select delivery time and payment method. If you haven't yet entered your account login details, you will be required to do so now and complete the payment process.

How do I complete my shopping with bakkal.ae?

Once you have finished shopping, click the Checkout button in order to transfer your order for payment. If you have not logged in yet, you will be required to do so now, in order to transfer your order over for payment and final confirmation. If you have never previously shopped online at bakkal.om, you can open an account by completing the registration form within the bakkal.om checkout page, and then click Register. We assure you that this is a safe and secured registration. We will never share your details with any third parties. Once your order has been sent, click on the Continue button to be transferred to the payment gateway. All you have to do now is review your order and enter your payment details. If you haven't booked a delivery slot with bakkal.om, you will need to book your delivery directly. Please note it is important that you check the information you enter and correct any errors before clicking on the "Checkout" button. On receipt of your order, Bakkal.om will begin processing your order and we will send a message on the final page that your order has been received. We try our best to deliver within the next 24 hours based on the slot availability, however during busy periods this may rise up to 48 hours as we may need time for processing. You will be notified by email accordingly. Our delivery timings are everyday from 10.00 to 18.00 hours except Fridays.


Can I start shopping from my last order?

With bakkal.om you can start shopping from your last order, rather than filling up your basket from scratch. Your last order is saved under your account details. You can also start shopping directly from your Favourites list.

Why do I need to enter my login details?

You need to enter your login details so that we can communicate with your account. You will only be asked to enter your details the first time you shop and after that we will save them (unless you choose otherwise). Entering your login details enables you to:

  1. Book a delivery slot

  2. Start shopping from your last order, or favourites list

  3. Checkout from bakkal.om and complete payment for your order

For security reasons, we give you the choice whether you wish for your password to be saved or not. If you wish to speed up the process, leave the tick box checked and you won't have to enter it next time. If you change your mind, you can remove your stored login details under My Account page.

Who delivers my shopping?

We will deliver your shopping, only after the payment process was completed and you received a confirmation email as well regarding this order. Your order will be delivered by our professional staff, using our own temperature controlled vehicles.

How do I book a delivery slot?

Booking a delivery couldn't be simpler - click on the Delivery section, find your preferred slot and book it with the click of a mouse. You can book a delivery slot during check-out before you proceed for payment section..

How much does delivery cost?

The cost of your delivery depends on the order size. The minimum order limit is 12.000 R O with FREE DELIVERY.  

How can I change my delivery address?

You will need to update your delivery address in your account. If you wish to send an order to a different address (e.g. for a relative or to a holiday address), please add the address as an additional address within your profile.

What should I do if I have a problem with my delivery?
